Find your Light

In the past few weeks we have discussed the Shutter Speed, time of exposure of the subject, and the Aperture it controls how much light enters the camera. And at the third week of our Visual Communication class we talked abut the ISO it is the camera's sensitivity to light. Our professor gave us a task to take five photos and tried to compare the difference of the quality of the photo. The ISO of 100 is the better image quality, when you reach 800 it is prone to noise or grain the dots in the back ground.

Our professor also taught us the technique in light painting and here is my assignment :

Setting: Shutter Speed 20" f 22 ISO 100
This photo was taken at Aezel Santiago's room and I chose this photo because I am very fascinated with stars and moon.
Model: Aezel Santiago
I would like to thank the people who helped me with this light painting: Jean Advincula, Florence Mutya, and Aezel Santiago.

Our second meeting in Visual Communication class was so fun because our prof shown us his work and taught us how to use shutter speed and just letting the aperture and ISO to a fix numbers. He also taught us on how to focus our subject on our camera.

This was the photo that I taken with the shutter speed of 1/125, aperture of 5.0 and the ISO was 400.

My professor told me that if I want to freeze the water I need higher shutter speed. I learned a lot from this experience, I already know how to give more emphasis on my subject.
